Busy bathrooms need as much storage as possible but try to think laterally when designing your layout so that essential items are kept close to hand. For example, if you have a young baby you’ll already have your hands full at bath time, so make sure you have a towel rail on standby and a small cupboard dedicated to baby’s shampoo, talc and nappies will also make life easier. Cleaning products should be stored near the wc, while spare towels can be stowed away in wall cabinets.
